I just switched from PcHelpware to OneClick. These are very helpful tools for what I do (http://teky.ca). Thank you to everyone who has contributed to them.

I'm sure with PcHelpware, and initially with OneClick, that I could do 2 things at once: e.g. chat and remote control at the same time. Now I can only seem to do one thing at a time: remote control, or chat, or file transfer, etc.

I am using OneClick in Repeater mode with Encryption and RunAsService, specifying the ID each time (in case that makes a difference).

I have tried to backtrack somewhat to figure out where it started getting single-minded, but to avail.

I have also googled the issue, with no success.

If I could just figure out this one niggling issue, we will buy a OneClick site license for my company.

Thank you in advance for your help.

SVN-398 and later disabled simultaneous use of chat/file transfer and remote control.

From SVN-398 comments:
Revert to old behaviour of no frame buffer updates during chat or file transfer as there's some instability

Thank you for the quick and accurate answer.

From the Changes file, it looks like OneClick is currently at about SVN-465, so SVH-398 must have been a while back.

Any idea when simultaneous use of chat/file transfer and remote control may be back?

Also, if we buy an Single-Site Commercial License today, does it entitle us to all future releases?

The UltraVNC viewer probably won't support it until version 2.0 is released. You're welcome to use the RemoteZilla viewer but there are a lot of features/buttons/menu items that the UltraVNC server doesn't support so they won't do anything but take up toolbar space and the command line options are a bit different.

Updates are always free for OneClick.

I didn't see RemoteZilla until you mentioned it. Because both are Advantig products, I'm guessing we can start with a US$125 Single Site Commercial license for OneClick, then later upgrade to a 2-technician RemoteZilla Professional for an additional US$495?
