Hello,

I'm unable to get the repeater to work. Could you provide better instructions than
the ones that are included with Oneclick? I've got the ports forwarded and the server set up but
I can never get the viewer to connect to the repeater.

OneClick 2.0.9.3 has been released.

http://www.advantig.com/oneclick -or- http://www.vnchelpdesk.com

---------
Changes
---------

Version 2.0.9.3
----------------------------------
 - Changed Reboot option to auto-reboot the customer machine when
the customer module is uninstalled instead of asking. (optional)

 - Updated WinVNC.exe to 2.0.8.2 SVN 510

 - Updated VncViewer.exe to 2.0.8.2 SVN 510

Version 2.0.9.2
----------------------------------
 - Changed customer modules to prevent the program compatibility
prompt at the end of the session on Windows 7 systems.

Version 2.0.9.1
----------------------------------
 - Added shortcut to desktop to force a reconnect to the technician.

Version 2.0.9.0
----------------------------------
 - All menu text is now user configurable by editing the CustomText.ini
file in the SC Source Folder.

 - Now uninstalls other VNC services if running in service mode to
allow the OneClick UltraVNC service to start and reconnect after
reboot. The other service is re-installed when the OneClick session
ends. Reboot may be required to re-start the other VNC service on
   some systems.

 - Updated UVNC program to latest SVN version.

In an earlier version of OneClick, it didn't disconnect right at the safe mode prompt.  Maybe a better solution is to investigate why the additional disconnections are happening.

That's what we're looking into. Hoping the version released today will address some of the disconnect issues.

I am using version 2.0.9.2 and the server disconnects before the "would you like to reboot the client's computer" prompt. this leaves my customers to deal with things from there. Everything else seems to be working great in this version. I can work around this but, thought I would report the bug or find out if I'm doing something wrong.

The next release version automatically reboots with no prompt if it is enabled in the config since Visata and Win 7 both hide the prompt from the user desktop.

There doesn't appear to be a way to disable the prompt without patching/modifying the explorer.exe file. We're looking for alternate methods to bypass this.

Yes.  OneClick (and other remote software) has the ability to blank the screen and lock the keyboard.

Thank you for the good info.  One question I have had about all the remote software (other than Windows RDP) is if your customer is at their PC, can they see the steps you are taking to fix their problem or the mistakes you make in trying to fix the problem?  I guess what I would like to know is there a way to blank their display if you wanted to?  If not with oneclick, how about the other Advantig products?
